Bookend cushion
The design of the cushion offers many uses and can be compared to a bookend, which creates stability where there must be instability.
The bookend cushion can be used as a stabiliser cushion in the side position, either in combination with the Seahorse cushion item number NTG01 or the Flexo cushion item number NTG17. It can be used to support elbow joints and forearms in the prone position. Or as a light lumbar/back support pillow in the side position for people with reduced balance trunk stability. The pillow is also excellent for people with reduced head control, who require stable support. This is to prevent incorrect swallowing.
It can also be used to support a knee, pre- and post-operative procedures or in connection with fractures of the femur or lower leg. In that situation, it must be combined with either the Pleat/slope pillow item number NTG14 or the Cylinder pillow item number NTG11.
