U-cushion with slope
The U- cushion is the basic element in the semi-fowler position with 30 degree raised truncus and head.
The design of the cushion ensures a stable semi-fowler position with stable support of the truncus and head. The slope function allows for extra support around the hip and pelvis and is used as a tactile proprioceptive stimuli. The semifowler position takes into account respiration, in addition to being unique in terms of pressure distribution. In addition, the pillow helps to optimize activities such as tube feeding.
The pillow can also be used to stabilize the pelvis sitting in bed, on the edge of the bed or on an exercise table. The weight and quality of the material prevents unstable positioning and is temperature-regulating, which ensures a better microclimate.
